Historic Architecture Meets Cutting-Edge Education Design
Palo Alto, CA
The redevelopment of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education (GSE) campus brings together modernization, expansion, and innovation to create a unified academic hub for future educators and researchers. The project includes the 100,000-square-foot renovation and expansion of the existing GSE Building, upgrading core infrastructure and learning environments to support collaboration and interdisciplinary work. Complementing this is the new 60,000-square-foot Barnum Building, which houses academic offices, flexible research and teaching spaces, active convening areas, and a state-of-the-art library. Designed to foster community, innovation, and academic excellence, the revitalized campus reflects Stanford’s forward-thinking approach to education and sustainability.
