Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage

Mobility Hub—Sustainable, Future-Ready, Transit-Connected.

Dublin, CA

The Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage provides 507 parking spaces across five levels, along with an 18,000-square-foot ground-level area designed for future mixed-use or retail conversion. The facility enhances commuter mobility with EV charging stations, bicycle lockers, and parking for autonomous electric shuttles, supporting transit ridership and reducing vehicular congestion in the city.

Designed through a collaborative design-build partnership between McCarthy and International Parking Design (IPD), the project reflects a strong commitment to sustainability, community integration, and long-term flexibility. The garage achieved Parksmart Bronze and CalGreen certifications and incorporates natural ventilation, energy-efficient systems, and solar-ready infrastructure.

As a transit-oriented development, the structure serves as a catalyst for continued growth around the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station while blending with the surrounding architecture. Additional highlights include public art selected through a county-wide competition and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles for enhanced safety and aesthetics.

The Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage exemplifies our dedication to innovative and sustainable development, and is a testament to forward-thinking urban development, blending practical infrastructure with community enrichment. This project not only fulfills the immediate needs of the community but also lays the groundwork for future growth.
